Siebert Lutheran Foundation
|
The Siebert Lutheran Foundation has provided $15,000 for the support of our Peer Ministry Program. Eight students participate in this vocational development program which encourages young adults to explore ways to use their spiritual gifts in service toward others. Five students lead our campus outreach as leaders in Education and Formation, Worship and music, Promotion of Diversity, Health and Wellness, and Publicity. In addition, three students currently serve as youth outreach ministers in area congregations. Each student attends leadership retreats and formulates a ministry plan based on their skills and interests in ministry.

Matching Funds: Thrivent Financial for Lutherans enhances the gifts their members give to Lutheran Campus Ministry by providing $1 for ever $2 we receive (up to a maximum of $300).
Thrivent has also provided $45,000 for our Multicultural Youth Leadership Initiative called Crossing the Stream.
