Lenten Reflection Opportunities

Crossing the Stream

Crossing the Stream is year-long program of service, spiritual development, and vocational discernment.   Three key components will guide us toward this goal:

· Spiritual reflection and multicultural leadership training (through retreats and mentoring)

· Monthly outreach ministry initiatives in local congregations and agencies

· Cultural Immersion Experiences (trips)

 

Each Marquette student is paired with one or two high school students from a Lutheran congregation in the Milwaukee community. Together, the team will plan programs or events for other youth to foster a postive relationship and serve their community. Some projects this year are programming for youth group activites and leading contemporary worship.
